Sean Raggett is currently in the form of his Portsmouth career as John Mousinho’s side look to end their 12-year Championship exodus.
Raggett, 30, signed for Pompey in the summer of 2019 – initially on loan – and has spent five consecutive seasons at Fratton Park.
The former Norwich defender has amassed 228 appearances, more than any Pompey player in the 21st century.

With his contract reaching its conclusion at the end of the campaign, playing a vital role in a potential promotion campaign would be a fitting end if he doesn’t agree new terms.
Raggett has started 19 League One matches this season, deputising brilliantly for the injured Regan Poole, who had started the campaign superbly after signing in the summer.
Conor Shaughnessy has been an ever-present at the heart of Pompey’s defence, and Raggett has been full of praise for the 30-year-old.
“I enjoy being in that partnership – he’s been brilliant for us this season. We’ve played a lot of games together and have a good understanding,” Raggett told Portsmouth’s official website.
On Pompey’s recent form, the defender added: “It’s definitely the business end of the season that we’re in right now and the games are starting to run out.
“From my experience, those 12 matches are going to go by really quickly and we’ll just take each one as it comes.

“Charlton haven’t had the best of seasons, but since I’ve been at this club, they’ve always given us a tough game.
“There are a lot of good players in their squad, so we know we’ll have to be at our best to get anything.”
Should Sean Raggett be offered a Portsmouth contract extension?
Considering Raggett’s role this season, a contract extension should be considered if Pompey return to the Championship.
The 30-year-old’s professionalism whilst spending time out of the side has been impeccable, and John Mousinho would have a dependable replacement to call upon if required.
If it’s a deal that suits all parties, then it’s undoubtedly on the mind of Richard Hughes and the decision-makers at Fratton Park.
However, if Raggett wants to head to new pastures, he will be fondly remembered on the South Coast, particularly if he can guide Pompey to the League One title.
