Portsmouth attacker Paddy Lane has admitted he loves looking at the league table and wants this form to last all season.
Pompey kept up their unbeaten start to the season, picking up their fifth win of the season against Lincoln City.
The away side opened the scoring after just five minutes through Hakeeb Adelakun.
Lane was back among the goals as he levelled the scores just three minutes later.
Regan Poole scored his second goal of the season just before halftime which turned out to be the winner.
Five wins and four draws see Pompey top of League One after nine games.

What has Paddy Lane said?
When asked about his side’s form, the winger was joyful.
In a tongue and cheek response, he said: “We’re pleased to have got the win and we have a look at the table, it’s nice to be top and not have to scroll down!”
With that being said, being top after nine games won’t count for anything at the end of the season.
This sentiment was shared by Lane: “We want to be there at the end of the season when it counts.
“Winning games, there’s no feeling like it, so long may that continue.”
The winger has now scored in back-to-back games and is building up some form.
Asked about this, he said: “We’re running games and it’s nice to be among the goals.
“I’m doing that but now I want to create a few more for Colby now.”
When winning games, it is always positive when players can still pick out areas they can improve in.
The squad is unified right now, Lane wanted to show that: “The group we’ve got is unbelievable and we’re all working towards that same aim.
“So even when I was injured I still really felt a part of things.”
A great start to the season for Pompey and long may it continue.
